Despite a ban on gatherings in the capital city, protesters have taken to the streets demanding the release of detainees and the resignation of the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister himself has been heavily criticized after seizing power through a political coup and was elected as the Premier in what seems to be a very controversial election. The largely student led movement is yet another instance of global political protest in which the youth are raging against the machine, so to speak

I admittedly, do not know a ton about the political situation in Bangkok. However, from what you described that's going on currently, this is pretty inspiring. And I think about the protests here in the US and how people would not risk their health and their lives if it wasn't for something that required that. And I just feel very inspired by the bravery and fortitude of these protesters, who it seems from what you described here are primarily organized by young students as well. It gives me hope
