California Court reverses Prop 22 decision to agree with voters: Did they make the right decision?

article image placeholderCalifornia Court Mostly Upholds Prop. 22 in Win for Uber and Other Gig Companies
But it brings into question what if the employees of gig economies are treated as employees and not independent contractors? This would change the economic model of these companies drastically, some of them already struggling to make a profit. So what we're used to with Ubers and Lyfts and easy driving and DoorDash, a lot of companies that have made convenience a lot easier for transportation and food would be gone. The back and forth on this from a legal perspective is definitely fascinating

This is a Good thing.

I think it's funny that out of all the banks that failed so far and there will probably be more banks that fail, but the big one was in Silicon Valley. A lot of California and the politicians have their heads in the clouds. They have no idea about anything to do with the real world, and people are losing a lot of money because of it. And now update on that, by the way. Now they're bailing them out even though they said they wouldn't

There are all these people out there who are working in the gig economy, whether they're writers, graphic designers, drivers. So they're there. So I think the bigger question really becomes now is this is going to continue and health care costs are out of pocket. Insane. Not to mention the cost of health insurance for those people who are usually working within the gig economy. They're not going to be able to afford the best health insurance

I think health education is more important than healthcare in this cpintry. What we have is sickness care.

I'm speaking specifically to healthcare in this country and about it being a human right. I think that personally, the healthcare system, specifically in America and probably in Europe and other countries is modern day witchcraft. And I don't think there's anything that can be done to fix it. We're one of two countries that advertises drugs, and they are drugs. They're hard drugs. If you have a problem with drug dealers, you should have a problem with the doctor
