What are your Thanksgiving plans? 🦃

And so it's getting pretty cold here. And sometimes we've even had snow around Thanksgiving. So usually we'd celebrate indoors and come together and break bread and have a delicious meal at someone's place. Sometimes it changes over the years. But this year we're trying to figure out what the heck we could do to still see each other

Pandemic style

The point I'm getting to is you guys are celebrating holidays and things that you don't even know where they come from. You just celebrated because my great great great grandma celebrated it, and it was passed down from generation to generation. So that's why I'm doing it for my great great grandfather or my family from past generations. That's what we did on December November 26

We're like, okay, what time we're convening playing games again till 203:00 a.m.. It was like party central. Love Thanksgiving holiday because it was family time. That's how I did it. Well, my aunt and my uncle moved to California and just completely broke my heart because the whole family, my cousins, kids grow up. They moved on, moved to California. So there was no more of that big Thanksgiving

Thanks for the question and thanks for the responses. Thanks. That Truthful for telling us to really acknowledge the reality of our traditions. I know I'll be be living a duality it's National Day of Mourning. If you don't know, check out U-A-I-N-E. United American Indians of New England. I'll be celebrating in a small group of my community. We will be having a Turkey that was raised by my neighbor and you processed with shared equipment

Well, I'd like to first approach what Truthful was saying. And sure, you could find a lot of truth to what you said. There. Absolutely. But, I mean, growing up in this society, we've been programmed to do a lot of things for no reason. I mean, it's just consumerism. We like to consume. It's just how it is. We like celebrating different things

Mellow. Yeah, that's true. We have been. But once you don't woke up and seeing that this s*** is a program and this is a f****** Corporation. Are you going to keep going on with tradition? Or you can start thinking for yourself. That's other whole question behind me staying what I said about Thanksgiving. Are y'all gonna keep going behind what some dudes and some suits told you all, what did they mean?

I mean, just a little word of advice. I tried to tell you what to do, live your own life. But if you ever wonder why you can't connect, that's pretty much it

What a great question for me. It's super important to be able to sit down with my family this year and talk about our future. Like, are we going to continue to live live in the rat race? Is that the best course of action for my brother, his wife, my mom, my nephew niece for everybody to kind of be chasing, chasing something that looks like society is not really supporting anymore
