Tell me about a person who had a profound influence on your life

He had a very special sort of swagger about him, this infectious smile and Grace to him that made me as a student sort of cling to every single word that he said and his dedication and charm, his passion, his love for his students. The world for art, for opera was second to none. And a lot of the experimentation I've done in my own life when it comes to my own interests are really derived from him

In honor of Mr. Anstead, my 11th grade AP Art History teacher who passed away last evening.

He was just asking simple questions that we were talking about really deep philosophical and spiritual perspectives. And then he gave me a meditation to practice. He kind of gave me some guidance, and I started doing that right away. And I cold Turkey. That Vicodin. I cold Turkey. The drinking problems with this meditation, with this particular mantra and the way to practice it. And it was just really phenomenal over the years

I think I talked about this teacher in another swell. I'm not sure. Or maybe it was on Anchor or something, but I was immediately brought back to Mr. Yates from my high school current affairs and history teacher. We had a rival school that always beat us in football, and it was a private school. And we were a public school. And every year we had this big game, we played this other school, and they always beat us

Dr Cassie - I’m coming to find you!!

And he really gave me those ideas just by being who he was. I don't think he framed them as such, but his whole stature and his whole capacity to teach was incredible and left with two legacy. So here's to Dr. Cassidy, I would like to get Ken Cassie onto swell. Let me work on that
