I'm curious what you think about this. It's really interesting situation. Honestly, I'm surprised that it even really happened. But I'm curious to know what your thoughts

Great question

But from watching that show, I do remember that it didn't really take a lot of ice to produce a very dangerous situation. And even if they went through ice, there was potentially a ton of damage to the Hull. Those are fishing boats, not necessarily cargo boat. I don't know if there's a difference between that, but I think that's a very interesting question that I'd love to do some more digging on and would love for somebody to speak on it with more knowledge

But yes, Swiss Transit will still stay for quite some time the most viable option for bigger tennis as well. From what we know, I think Sea that is the Canadian authority will soon come up with some restrictions or some additional requirements, like having additional tucks when the vessels of this container size are transiting. But still, even though it laid around like 45 kwh plus to the cost, it will still continue to be the most viable option for transiting

@Vidyarthi Thank you for weighing in!

Hey, thank you so much for answering that. I really appreciate your expert analysis on this. And I was really hoping that somebody would come on here that had a lot more knowledge than what we do because we kind of look at it and we think, hey, here's a shorter route. Just go up around the North Pole. And I guess it's not that easy. And I'm kidding. I figured it really wouldn't be

I tend to agree with you. Any crisis always brings opportunities. So indeed, Russia would be trying hard to take advantage of the current crisis which happened in this is canal going forward. Indeed, 20, 30, 20, 50 more melting of ice. There would be more talks and discussions and people the industry would like to see if the north route can be used. It would be very interesting also for the maritime industry. Indeed, it's a shorter route
