Does losing always equate to failure? Giannis Antetokounmpo weighs in

article image placeholderWhy the Giannis Antetokounmpo ‘Failure’ Speech Is a Viral Phenomenon — The Wall Street Journal
Some days you are able to be successful, some days you're not. Some days it's your turn. Some days it's not your turn. And that's what sports about. You don't always win. Some other people is going to win, and this year somebody else is going to win

Is Giannis right? https://s.swell.life/STcjIfkUuAqnDn3

It. I like the way that he said that. I think the question of your posing of is there a failure in sports? Is yes, because there's failures in life. And that's the only way that we see it as a society, and I say as human beings, as a society. So this is the global perspective of losing and failure as we lose in life. We make goals every year, right, as New Year's resolutions or anything

I think as professional athletes, I'm sure they have to know that they're not going to win every single day, every single game, every single match. They're going to lose some just as much as they're going to win some. So just having that character and that mindset is important
