Discussion: The Final 2020 Presidential Debate

article image placeholderFinal 2020 Presidential Debate: WATCH LIVE Pres. Trump, Joe Biden go head-to-head | ABC News
While at this point in the election season, there are fairly few people who are undecided. Many voters were crying out for a debate that was moderated, fairly fiercely and without bias. After the Calamitous first debate, many people were calling for the ability for moderators to mute each candidate. Tonight, the Commission has put in place strict rules to maintain control of the debate. Both Biden and Trump will have their microphones muted during portions of the evening

So just a quick observation. My opinion of both of these guys. Aside, Trump is having such a difficult time not being able to respond. And you can tell by by the look on his face, by him motioning to the moderator. He is a lifelong businessman. This is not a person who's used to being quiet while others speak. That's what he normally does. He said, Shut up, let me do the talking

Taylor, I was just about to say the exact same thing. I feel like Trump is a ticking time bomb. It looks like it's taking every ounce of selfcontrol for him to be honest on better behavior compared to the last debate. And let's see what happens

And for countries that have strong autumn inventors, solar is not powerful enough in those months. However, I do believe that we can do sufficient investment in RND. People thought electric cars would not be possible. And Elon Musk said that we will make it possible. And there you have now almost every car maker rolling out electric cars and battery technologies being improved upon. And similarly, for solar

Hey, I watched the debate from my work office in Australia. And basically, what I discovered was what I thought and that's that Donald Trump's main response whenever he was accused of something by Joe Biden was no, you. So it was very enlightening debate in the fact that I learned nothing

Political process devoid of actual plans and policy

You'll find out what I'm going to do once you actually elect me. And that was my biggest takeaway last night. That's what politics has become. I think we've talked about this on Swell a couple of times, but it is becoming more of this personality and popularity contest. Just select me and you'll find out what I'm going to do once I get in there. That doesn't work for me at all. And that's what I saw last night

I gotta agree with you, Phil. I mean, to be honest, I was way more entertained when they were just interrupting each other. I mean, this was just this was just a whole lot of talking without saying anything. It was pretty pathetic. Neither Trump nor Biden really said anything significant. I just stopped listening to be honest, because I see where it was going. And it was just repetitive. The same old, same old cliches, ready made phrases, same old thing
