Six Year Old Shoots Teacher: Is it time for a more serious discussion on guns?
But there's very few other details that I can find at the moment in this horrific, unbelievable situation. Now, people on social media circles are demanding that we have a real conversation this time. And we hear this a lot. We've heard it a lot. We've heard it after mass shootings that we need to have a discussion. Does this change the conversation? In so many discussions before? We're told it's not the guns, it's the people
You know, I suspect there's going to be more dodging and weaving when it comes to any real change. Instead of it being about the guns, it'll be about the child. Whether it was the parents being, quote, unquote, irresponsible and not locking up the gun or some other excuse. Don't quote me on this because I believe this could be outdated information. Information, but I'm pretty sure that in most states there is no minimum age for using a gun

Phil. I'm afraid I have to agree with Christina. How much ever I hate it, I don't think it's going to make one bit of a difference, is it? The people are at least the legislators are very divided. It's not like the common man sees gray when it comes to shades of gray when when it comes to gun legislation, but the legislature seem to really see black or white

And I think this is I think this is the perpetuation of gun violence in this country. It is. We've had discussions about it. We've had so many conversations and debates about the Second Amendment. But this disagreement is on a spiritual level that I don't think is being addressed. As I said, there's just this spiritual level evil that persists in this country that allows this to continue happening. And I mean, how we address that, I don't know
I think instead of going after the guns all the time, let's figure out where a six year old got a gun, find out why, how he got it, and let's deal with that problem first. There's no reason for a six year old to have a gun. So did the parents leave it out? Did he get it from big brother? What? And let's go after that and take care of that first. Then we can talk about all this other stuff
