Companies "supporting" minority groups to make more money

article image placeholderUploaded by @cynergy
But in reality, it's not even about supporting the LGBTQ plus community, the black community not even about Christmas. What is Christmas really is like? It's supposed to be a religious holiday, but then it turns into buying gifts and just splurging and wasting money. You know what? I just came up with this real estate. This also happens in Black History Month as well, especially when it came to the George Floyd situation

Hi. Thanks for starting this conversation. Yeah, I it's so infuriating that this is a trend now with every big Corporation, you know, out looking for the word for it. It's just like, I mean, I can't help just think capitalism, it's in our face all the time and the things that actually matter about what they're trying to package and sell something that has no, you shouldn't be putting a price to it. These are people's lives and rights

But, yeah, it should be like a thing to sign or for companies to approve of actually advertising, but having actually people supporting and people in the realms of having these experiences instead of people that are not a part of the community or at least against it, it's like, terrible. But I definitely love your idea. Companies should actually support them 100% instead of just doing it just because it's seasonal. I definitely agree with that

Hey, I found an article. I'm not sure this is the best article out there, but it's in my description and yeah, it just talks about the performative activism that love corporations and do in order to profit off of the social issues like you guys said. And yeah, I totally agree. It's just sickening to think about because I feel like it does more harm than good

Hey, Jay, thank you for chatting this article. I'm about to go read it right now, but the first thing I thought of after hearing your reply, performative activism, I was like, that is the exact word I'm looking for or that best describes the companies only supporting minority groups for season or for profit. That's literally the word. But yeah, thank you for the article. It's
