Outlook on life……from a philosophical point of view!!

They can be viewed as opinions, but the difference is that some philosophers can actually be factual, meaning they can be proven. So over the course of time now, I would definitely have to say that one of my favorite philosophers is actually a man by the name of Frederick Nietzsche. He is a German philosopher. And one of my favorite quotes by him, he basically says that he who will learn to fly one day must first learn how to stand and walk. One cannot fly into flying

I remember Socrates and Confucius from high school, but I did always really enjoy philosophy, and I enjoy phil conversations. Yet. Philosophy in college was the one class that I didn't get an A, and I was, like, a super crazy straight A student and would never settle for anything less than philosophy was one class that I got a B. And I always laugh because I'm like, I thought I liked philosophy, but apparently I wasn't good at it

So the best thing you could do is just keep living. And then as you live, then you can sort of understand how they were able to apply their philosophical just their philosophy in general, to how they live their lives and how you can live your life. And you can actually use them as models and as examples if you're living a certain way. But that's how I would be able to use it and that's how I was able to understand it a lot better

But then we moved into, like, existential thought, and I felt like that was where I was really interested in a lot of different philosophers. I remember particularly being quite interested and alluded to Vickenstein. I just found something about his approach kind of eye opening. A lot of people would say it's incredibly depressing, but I don't know, depending on how you internalize philosophy, it can do a lot for your sense of self and your position within the great scheme of the universe

And one quote that he said I always carry with me because I find it to be profound, he said no, from whence you came, for if you know from whence you came, then there's no limit to how far you can go. And again, I just find that to be profound because if you know where you came from, then where you can go, it's just endless. So something like that always sticks with me
