You're not going to start with the top position, because if you start at the top, there's no room for growth. So what happens in a company is you have to do more than just prove yourself. You have to go on a journey. And throughout that journey, you'll get promoted one step at a time and a lot of time, although you could be taking two steps back to take one step forward, that's still part of your journey

And that's kind of like the strive and strive but never arrive mentality, because usually when somebody does attain what they feel they called a life, then they get discontented and they're on to the next thing

And I think what happens is once you gain some maturity in the life that you're living right now, you realize that it starts to become more of a journey when there are things that you're pressing toward and what happens a lot of time

I mean, I lived my life, you know what I'm saying? When I was in my twenty s, I was living life, you know what I mean? I have to make decisions. My mama died when I was 19 years old on Christmas

So, again, as we live life the way that we were living at that point, whether your life was the same as mine and vice versa, or if it was different, what happened is it actually culminated us to know where we had to actually start our journey at that point. So from what I'm hearing from you now, you're an author, you're happily married now

I want to tell you how much I actually like your reply and I like that word correlation in regards to age and the journey and answer. Like you said, it goes with what I said in regards to just the younger generation, how they really not on their journey right now because they're doing their best to experience life
