When I get up in the morning, I come from a place of practicing gratitude, an gratitude of gratitude, and at the same time, I'm open to receive the mystical, the unknown, the divine. In my day, in the season, in my life, in my work. What do you lean on when you go through a turning point or a change of seasons? Whether that's natural season or a life season? I'm curious

More like more base human feelings, how I'm doing emotionally, mentally, things like that. But yeah, I think my biggest ritual around this time is to gather and to be outside and to have food and to sit by the fire and watch the light change. And I do that a lot. I'm blessed with that kind of backyard in La. But yeah, it has so much to do with asking for myself three flat, but even more in between others and having that conversation

And so now that our climate is out of whack, we need to shift again and adjust because the seizures are forever changing and so are we as human. So embracing that acceptance and looking forward to what it's on the horizon and not trying to be predictive and just allow the natural flow of things. Seasons end, relationship end, people were here, are now gone. It's just the evolution of life. And so that's what it means to me
Like, we can expect the same pattern of blooming and thriving and death and rebirth each year. It kind of feels like a metaphor built into nature, a sort of hopeful promise of life cycling back again. And so I think for me, it feels magical in that way. It kind of reflects my own spirituality. Of course, I also love the holidays during this time of year, especially the period leading up to the holidays

In such a volatile situation in life, you have spikes and troughs and every second day, globally speaking, sometimes not changing much is a good thing. Sometimes retaining your positive affirmations, your positive thoughts or your conviction is a good thing. And sometimes powering through the negativity all around you by retaining your thought processes is not such a bad thing after all. So for me, as season change, I like to carry forward the stuff that is worked well

I love that. Continue, start, stop. I mean, it sounds so basic, but it's a great little tool, and it's perfect for the timing of my life right now. So I'm going to do a little therapeutic thinking. Is that the right phrase? Continue, start, stop. So it's interesting, the things that you land up stopping

Hi, Amy. Eric here. I wasn't officially invited to this that I can recall, but I thought I'd get my two cent on fall and what it means to me, I suppose, for what it's worth. So fall is one of my favorite times of the year for lots of reasons, which I'm sure similar and shared by many others as well

Hi, Eric. I appreciate your talking about what fall means to you and I hear the transition of lifetime of life too, in the midst of it all and how there are different periods of our life where we are able to enjoy more of nature and other times where we're sitting a bit from afar. I've certainly felt that in my life. And fall also brings to me there's a sense of it's not really quite slowing down

Thank you for your thoughtful response to change. I love the idea of not changing and continue. New start. Stop. Wow, that is really a simple and profound way to think about moving forward. And yes, the season are that kind of moment to check in, the moment to see how we're doing and course correct if necessary. That's what it seems like to me. Continue Start Stop is a form of checking in and course correction if necessary

I love what you've added to the conversation in terms of looking towards nature as a metaphor. It's so true. Biomimicry is an approach to looking at nature and that way and learning from nature and being able to apply that to different aspects of our life. The rhythm of the seasons as you talked about the death and rebirth and blooming and blossoming and growth and overgrowth and all the different aspects that the trees share with us in a year cycle. It's such a good reminder for our own patterns
