And I love how we've come up with the excuse that, oh, black folks, we don't change that. It ain't a negative connotation no more. Really. It always has been a negative connotation. It was negative from the beginning. We could change the name of sports teams that's just like gays. It's offensive to say the word f*****, but it's not offensive to say the word negative

But now it's like people just throw it around like it's nothing. So yeah, I agree with you. And I don't know. I know there are bigger battles to be fought than what we're talking about in terms of social problems. But the use of that word is really just a symptom of a greater issue. And it just goes to show how deep the roots are of institutionalized racism
