Using Swell in Professional Developments in August

I think Swell Cast would be really cool for teachers to share with parents, to let them know what's going on in the classroom. It's something that is better than a text message, and it's better than the email. And I think, wellcast, if you can, it's a good way to use for publicity or for just maintaining the face of your classroom. So what do you guys think about that

But just for a publicity or communication perspective, you can start kind of putting your soul cast on our website as well, and that might be useful in some of the use cases you're considering. So watch out for that. That will be available soon and we will keep on listening to the feedback on this spade and other conversations as well to help makes well better for these use cases

No more email!

With email, you're going to spend a lot of time crafting that email, and then your tone is not necessarily going to come across. And I can't count how many times people take things the wrong way over email. And then you try to schedule a Zoom or a conference call and guess what, everybody's on different schedules, and it's really impossible to kind of pick a time that works for everybody

Roundtable on Swell in the Classroom coming

We're not talking over each other and as using using using using using using Swell in professional developments in the value of it as a tool, not just for asynchronous connection, but also for a way for people to collect their thoughts and use a skill that I think is slipping away. I've got a lot of nephews and nieces who don't like to leave voicemails. They'll just text me a couple of words they don't like using their voice and full transparency

Unlimited uses

We call it sit and get as long as you sit there and be quiet, it will be over with and a lot of skills are being missed in that frame. So I would like to see feedback used on Swell and incorporating just teachers just sharing things that are verbal, like teaching strategies or web tools that are used or just ways to deal with parents, ways to deal with administrators. That's what I would really like to see

ALL CAPS REPLY!!

Coach, you must have the patience of job, cause if somebody replies in all caps and you take the time to call them and say, Did you mean to put all caps? That's just patience right there. And that's a prime example of how things can just spiral out of control, because I think a lot of the times the first reaction is just, oh, now you're going to get nasty. I'm going to get nasty back just because they hit all caps button accidentally
