The films of Ron Howard...which ones stand out to you, good or bad?

Okay, what are the best and worst Ron Howard movies? He's done so many, and I'm looking into filmography right here. I'll go through some of them, and it is pretty insane. And I want you all to pick out anything you think is good. And also, if you have a guilty pleasure, that would be really fun to hear. I think anything you think is an interesting take on Howard. First of all, I do want to bring up

Hillbilly Elegy, Howard’s next film, hits Netflix soon, so we’re curious if you plan to see that as well!

The Beatles and Frost/Nixon

I'd probably put that above every single one of them. But I don't know if that really qualifies as a movie. It was more of a documentary that he did. But it was outstanding in my opinion. And to answer your question, Hillbelly Elegy, I'm going to listen to the review. I really didn't have one way or another whether I was going to watch it. However, just reading the description. I do have to mention this as well. Not a movie, but I do think Arrested Development was the single best thing Ron Howard ever did. And I don't think it's in my mind. It's not even close

Great question. A couple of things to say. So, Willow, I love that movie. My dad's name is actually Willow. I wish that more people spoke about it because I just I hardly ever meet people that have even seen it, which is kind of surprising, given who's in it and who directed it. Also, I have to say that considering how nightmarish the production of Solo ended up being, I was pleasantly surprised with what Ron Howard managed to salvage from that film

I think it's amazing how pop culture defining that is for a guy who has defined a lot of pop culture over the decades, he gets a lot of flak for being a bit of a Germans director, but he definitely is one of the good examples of that that way

So I've always just found it to be just like a blast of Star Wars, almost like a Star Wars TV movie with a weirdly, good budget. That's kind of how I look at it, honestly. And so that helps quite a lot to appreciate what's good about that one and ignore some of the sillier things that don't really hold up. Yeah. Mandalorian has been really killing it
