Do you still watch movie trailers?
Sure. And people would be like, oh, have you seen the trailer yet? And I'd say, no, I'd have no interest because I know I'm going to see that movie because I cover these things for cinema. Holly, I already know I'm going to see it. I don't need to see fewer trailers. I don't need to go out of my way to watch it. But I'm curious

I hope that they don't do away with them because I still think that they have some entertainment value to offer. It's kind of like you decide if you want to go ahead and watch the movie based on how the trailer looks at us. I'm a bit old fashioned, so that's how I approach my movie watching experience overall. But thanks again for raising the spell. I'm going to be looking at a few more trailers now that you've brought the subject up

And do I think a trailer can make or break a film? Not necessarily, but I do watch them occasionally. I watch extended trailers occasionally just for, like I said, work reasons and sometimes just to get a gist of the film. But I mean, the film industry is just changing so fast. Like I said, there's even apps for films

Sometimes even after I think I find that some movie reviewers don't know what they're talking about. They do to a certain degree, but they can have a bias incentive. It seems like most movie reviewers out there only know blockbuster films. They only associate that as good. It's like they don't know what nd small films are or if they do review it, they're only reviewing it because like, a big movie blockbuster stars in them
And I felt that over the last year I've watched a lot less sort of like you. And I think that part of that is because I've always sort of related trailers in the movie going experience with one another. I was never really keen on ever watching it on like a small phone screen. But also, I just think the movies from this past year have been pretty bad. Generally, I found very few that have changed my mind

Hey, it's Neil D. Again. I thought I'd put my two cent and again I was always one to get the film magazines and read the reviews there and kind of get what the of films about more so than trailers nowadays. Again, with the podcasts and magazines. That's the route I tend to go when I'm trying to look up on a film more so than trailers. So they're very informative. And that's kind of the route I've gone

And I went to a lot of movies while I had that before the dark Times, before the COVID. And I would go a lot, especially, like if it was a really s*****, cold, rainy Saturday, my girlfriend and I would literally hit three movies, like, We'd go to two, back to back, dip out, go get some dinner, come back, watch another one. I love movie trailers this year. Really not because I haven't seen as many movies being promoted on television. I have not really watched as much as I've watched in the past, but I still enjoy movie trailers, and now I run across them. Probably if I'm on YouTube or something like that, but really look forward to movie trailers, even though maybe now we cannot go to the theater
