Producers coming up don’t deserve 50% off a track a artist made

article image placeholderProducers got lazy and feel too entitled
Sorry about that of the song. They deserve 50%. Now, let's be honest here. You have some producers that super dope like DJ Khaled shout out to DJ Khaled that he's just not a beat maker. He makes a song for you. He produces, he produces a hook, he produces multiple things, not just the beat. So with that being said, a producer like him, I would agree to pay 50% if he comes to me with the beat

Without the beat a artist is nothing!? True ir false?

Leverage and negotiation tactics.

And have you heard them buzzing in the streets or not? Again, I haven't really went through this since I make my own stuff, and I really do it for podcast stuff. Now. I'm not like an artist trying to make a career. I guess I am, but I'm just going about it in a different way. But yeah, that's just my thoughts. So as you said, also, with the question, without the beat artist is nothing true or false

And the reason why I want to elaborate and make it more stern so people can understand is because nowadays the average producer is not making me beats from scratch. This is a fact from Kanye West. The best producers you can add their sampling stuff on top of. They have sample boots where you can literally produce a beat in under five minutes

Great points!

You know, you brought up some great points in regards to battle rap, URL, King of the Dot. There's a lot of RBE. There's a lot of those out there that it is spoken. It is like a Capella. They're making money, doing their thing. They're expanding the culture. So I understand where you're coming from there. And you brought up some great points as well in regards to even like, they have a splice

So I want to build a relationship. And that's how I feel that at the end of the day, these producers, they should build relationship with the artists, try to get to know the artists help build with them, promote. They should only Instagram to learn how to promote, too, not just make a beat. You know what I'm saying? And then that's when I feel like 50 50 becomes more of a topic of discussion
