Large Group Violence. Post Covid?

article image placeholderUploaded by @chlomonsta
I guess that I haven't really had to really think about being so nervous going into these big group environments and such. And now I'm kind of like, starting to think about, like, should I start to be nervous again or what is kind of the new normal? So, yeah, I'm curious to have you guys responses, please let me know what you guys think. Just because I personally was just really upset by learning about the recent events of this concert

Always be aware of your surroundings!

I think that's an important thing. So many people are in the moment at these festivals, and I'm not saying to not be in the moment and not have fun, but be aware of your surroundings. That's something my dad has repeated a million times to me my whole life. Be aware of your surroundings. Don't panic. And that's something that it's like a mantra that I sort of try and repeat to myself

But anyways, sorry, but yeah, I totally agree. Last weekend I went to Camps, which is a local bar in Berkeley, and this fight broke out, and this guy was paved and the police had to escort him out. And it was like a violent fight. And I was like, oh, my God. It's just like one of the first times I've been in a setting like that in a long time. So that just reignited the fact that these things still happen

Hey, Chloe, this is a very upsetting event. And like you said, I think we're just not used to having big events in group settings. And so, like hearing that this happened, really. I mean, at any time, this would have come as a shock. But now it's like we're starting to remember that so many tragedies have occurred when so many people are just grouped together in a tight space
