What do you stand for?

article image placeholderUploaded by @chlomonsta
I think for me, one of the most important things is I stand for the Earth and I stand for the wellbeing of the people on this Earth. So kind of just like a lot of environmental issues. I feel like I'm definitely really like I would get Mason the face for or it's and human rights. I definitely really do believe in equity and that people deserve to be treated with respect and dignity and such

Hey, that is such a great question. And I love your connection to that beautiful animal that I've never heard of before. So I have to do research on that Penguin. Did you say I think you said that crazy. I never heard about it. Think what I hear from you also is that standing for something means you're willing to risk a lot for it

Each telescope has a whole complex that comes with it like one has 13 satellites and one takes up the space of seven football fields in a conservation district that is a sacred burial ground and ritual area for Hawaiians that is particular by law. They've done nothing since. And when I say the University of Hawaii, who owns the lease to manage the land, they've done nothing but industrialize, the summit of a pristine a mountain endangered species environment and protected Hawaiian burial ground. So it's been industrialized

And by learning all of this and what, like, Monte Cara doesn't just only mean, like, okay, like, one more telescope is also like that people are standing up and fighting back for what really is right and what honestly should have been done 13 telescopes ago. So I just had such an incredible experience and was able to really understand the perspective of the people that are actually affected by this

Mauna Kea is the World’s Umbilical Spritually and yes Scientifically

Not only that one third of the Earth was populated because rocks from the mountain were taken to cut down trees that the oceanic people used to populate one third of the globe before Europeans even have the guts to go past the horizon for fear of being eaten by Dragons. My people had the courage long before, not only to pass the horizon sight unseen to Floyd on the open ocean, 2600 miles of open ocean to finally find Hawaii. But they got that technology to populate many of the Islands from mountain

I guess it depends on if you mean your question in a sentimental sense or something that's more real. You already gave an explanation, an example example of how you are standing for something in your love of the Earth and the environment. You've actually decided to invest time and money into studying on how you can make a positive impact upon that. But then there are ways that people use that word stand, and it's very confusing to me. I stand for the troops
