My sons Leukemia diagnosis

article image placeholderUploaded by @chitchatwithkk
Even though his journey is not the same as mine, he has something in common with me, and that we both were diagnosed with the illness at the age of eleven or twelve. So he's doing very well. He had his surgery yesterday to install the Port for his chemo treatment and to get bone marrow. Since he was diagnosed with leukemia, he's been pretty good with it. He is a smart, strong little boy, and I know that he's going to get through this

Children are strontet than adults will ever be #leukemia #childcancer #journey

And so when they sleep, it's like, even if you don't sleep, at least you know all is well, and you can relax, because when something's wrong, they're not going to sleep. And so if they're sleeping and sleeping good, it's like so I thank you for sharing this journey, and I look forward to you sharing more, because I lost my train of thought, because it's therapeutic for you and for others who hear it

Because to listen gives a lot, a lot more than people know. A lot of times we argue or we want to always have something to say. When there's a person trying to speak to us, that person just wants to get that word out. They just want to be here, because getting that out is a form of therapy. So, again, I thank you and I hope you continue to listen, because I'm going to continue to share, because this is hard for us all

Hello. I just wanted to say I'm so sorry to hear about your son's diagnosis. I know it takes a lot of strength to share your story. To share his story. Never underestimate the power of love and faith to do amazing things. And as your son is beginning his journey back to healthiness, to wellness a you sharing. This, I know, can really touch people and do amazing things. So thank you very much
