The Patriots embarrassingly lose to the Raiders, 30-24 after some Patriot stupidity.
Stevenson rushed out the middle for a 23 yard gain. He lateraled to Ducoby. Myers. Duoby. Myers fumbled the freaking ball. Chandler Jones recovered the fumble and returned it for a 48 yard touchdown making it 30 to 24. This is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. It was a tie game. Why are we lateraling? Go into overtime, give yourself a shot, but no laterals. Never, ever work. Ever. Have we not learned a lesson?

I've been watching football for a lot of years, both college and professional, and I can honestly say I have not seen anything quite like what I witnessed yesterday at the end of the Patriots and Raiders game. Now, I've seen the lateral at the end of the game plenty of times, and I've seen it work once. One time, Stanford and Cal. It was actually the game that they were referring to on the broadcast. It worked one time. But let me clarify that

Hey, Phil. So thank you so much for applying, first off. But, yeah, I 100% agree with you. There was no justification on why to do that. Like I said, they're not down any points. They had the game still on the line. They weren't desperate game wise. They're desperate team wise because they know they suck. But, yeah, but and, yeah, thank you for the background information
