Having the support of other families who are going through similar experiences as yourself, I have to say, is one of the best things that I ever decided to do. I don't think that I probably would have gotten this far parenting my daughter without my friends, my family, as I consider them. Now they're my family because we've been friends for so long, since our children were younger, and our kids are now all teens and young adults
