So the other day, I was letting on the best information about the children's film that rotate El Dorado. And the information is that Miguel and Julio, the two men were originally written as as a gay couple. Dreamworks saw this and when obviously we can't have them as a couple. But we can just chop these things out and see how it goes. So they chop the sort of the filler the romantic moments out of the story

And it doesn't surprise me that they cut it out because of course they would. That's just what a big company is going to do. They're not going to have too gay or two queer leads, but I definitely need to rewatch it now with that in mind and try and see if I can pick up on the bits that they missed, where the queerness comes through

Hello and welcome to Swell. I find it really interesting that the film was actually a flop, like it was technically a flop. It didn't make enough. And I think the kind of the plot and the kind of lack of any sort of development in between probably is because of that. But then I know lots of people, mostly adults, who do really like the film

Sadly, it did not make any money. I think if it made some money and not flopped as it did, it could have been really easy to spin off into a series and have shorter episodes where la, like three of them go off and explore different places and find lost civilizations
