Join me for a little thought experiment: What does misgendering feel like?

Whether that's using the wrong pronouns or referring to you with certain gendered words like sister or lady or gentleman or dude, which can be a contentious one. I understand there are Californians exist, but yes, I wanted to talk about this and try and get maybe to emphasize a little or just have a little, like, thought experiment with me. A very short one. Okay. Take the gender you are. Now let's say you're a woman. And I mean, obviously translate this

Are you curious about the trans experience, do you get it? Come and explore with me and share your thoughts.

Obviously, mine is slightly similar to how you described some of your experiences in regards to the fact that I identify as non binary. My pronouns are also there them. And I agree it makes me feel uncomfortable when people misgender me when it's a slip, but because it's a slip, especially if the person then corrects themselves and apologizes. I'm more uncomfortable because I'm like, oh, it just feels like she her pronouns don't feel right

@Maddie

And because I didn't take any time to comprehend it, I didn't have any time to relate to it because I think maybe if I really try to understand them and their gender, then maybe I would have been closer to finding mine sooner and understanding myself a bit better sooner. So the fact that you're coming here and trying to learn and stuff is fantastic
