Unexpected influence behind my leadership

When I look back and trace the roots of what led to me becoming a founder and CEO and often one of the only women in a boardroom or in the Csuite. It all started in in actually a pretty surprising place, a small red dining room table. I'm an only child raised by a single mom who was profoundly bad with money. So day to day things were a little precarious, and we didn't have a lot

The Red Table is ever expanding

So I think pointing this back to your leadership is really compelling because as a leader, you'll have the foundation of kindness and confidence so that you're not searching for it. You already have it so you can go ahead and be generous and include people at your table because you were included at your mom's table. It's really a beautiful image. Thank you

And I really appreciate that you're harnessing these experiences to your benefit now, and it's very inspiring as well. I am 22, about to graduate College University. I'm about to graduate in May and heading into a new path, a new journey of my life. I'm also an only child, and my family always struggled with money. So those two things I very much relate with, and I am very thankful that you hopped on Twitter and shared this with us
