Are we living in a simulation ?

And they want to see which instance would create the most vibrant or most sustainable universe or planet. And by doing so, they can actually learn from every different universe, and they can make use of it in their own universe. I think it's an interesting topic. And I want to hear what your opinions below

Just something Iโ€™ve been thinking about lately and I wanted to hear some of your opinions. #technology #elonmusk #universe #simulation #science

And it's about Ray KurtzWell, I think is his name, and his whole theory is essentially that AI and robots are going to outsmart us. And the only reason that they will keep any humans, as we know it around is just sort of for posterity and interest. And Shami who took part in this conversation, I think had a really interesting thought about why he thinks AI will outsmart us and also the dangers of AI

Today, I'm leaning towards 'no'. Cain https://s.swell.life/SSSYBA2LUTO24wS

If we look at the topics of free will and determinism, if you have a computing system that can handle something like our entire universe and all of us, and presumably a quote, unquote real history and the things that we continue to learn about. And these things aren't spoon fed into our consciousness. Or what have you there has to be an element of being able to determine what will come next. You'll be able to predict it

There's a simulation in its way. Right. And to be able to really enjoy the fiction, the imagination that goes into such possibility is endless. And then there is. I don't know if you heard of the guy Donald Feldman. Sorry. Donald Hoffman. Donald Hoffman. In fact, he gave a TEDx talk. You can look it up. He talks about that. What we see is not reality, as is

What story do we want vs need...?

But that trust has a baseline mentality that allows that to happen. So I wonder now if we could come back to this ancient philosophy of this simulation, but maybe use more stories to kind of share this and stories of how this came to be. We are humans. We love stories and Elon Musk and all these people bring up this story, but they're very like they themselves are disconnected from stories. They're disconnected from mythology

Now, I'm not so sure... @Cain (Please excuse my squeaky sinuses. ๐Ÿ™„)

Okay. I think I've changed my mind. See, I told you it was coming. There was also a flaw in my thinking. I ran with the idea of determinism and the simulation. But if I'm discounting determinism, why isn't possible that free will is a part of the simulation?

Hopefully it happens

Okay. I think if we consider AI to be some kind of a simulation and it improves over time and it gets to a point where it's as smart as we are and progressively could become smarter than us as well. And at that point, at that very point, what would be their motive to exist? What drives them? What's the motivation? What's the motivation? They're getting to go forward or do what they're doing? Okay

@MysticScientist

You mentioned a very good point about like people like Elon Musk in the Westernized culture actually very disconnected with all these historical events or data that we actually have. But if he without all these data, believes in the fact that we are in a simulation, then it backs the theory even harder. Because if you can't conclusion either way, then coding mean that is true. Right

Well, I think that's a very easy way of looking at everything. Like you just live through it. I mean, you're already here, right? Yes. I can see that. I

We learn things from animals who are less developed in the same way. They could be doing multiple simulations and learning things from us. That is what I think

It is very interesting and is true because our eyes do work like lenses. Right? It is lenses. So we absorb all this data that's coming out of the world and we perceive leave it in our way. And I know different animals have different spectrum that they can see. And because of that, they perceive it differently. But even animals like the Bed doesn't even use his eyes to see because it's so bad they use sound waves

Well, it took you three days to actually change your mind on this topic. I think if I come back in three more days, I might just see another comment from you with a different point. But coming back back to this topic, I think if scientists could actually explain how our body works all the way to how the universe works through formulas and mathematics, it's just a matter of time before they figure out how free will work

And one day we will get there when we can answer every question that we actually have, and then we will know if we are are, are, are we living in a simulation? Real
