Video games and artistic impact

article image placeholderUploaded by @Byrdseyeview
A while ago, the question was, are video games a form of art? And I thought it was kind of a silly question because I think what they were making the argument was that can art like that be interactive? Mean an actor's interactive in a movie, a director's interactive in a film or TV show? They are creating those things, but it is seen as a form of art. So the people who create video games are also interactive in what they create

And it's so creative and so imaginative and yeah, I've really, in the past few years, have come to really appreciate and love video games as a medium. bye

And like I said, in other countries, like specifically japan, video games is a big part of their culture. They still have arcades, they still have japanese is bigger than the market of video games. They always have been with nintendo and sony. So? Yeah. I don't know. I don't really understand the argument of that. But it's just a different part of the art, and I think people should respect that
