Don't be boring and what I've heard, and you might disagree. Maybe you can offer some input. It's a good thing to do on the first date is tell a light hearted story because stories are entertaining, they're engaging. And you can also reveal something about yourself through your storytelling. Aside from simply saying straightforward, I'm a funny person. You might want to just tell a joke and let them decide if you're funny or not

And I liked your question because I feel like it can apply to so many social contexts, especially now that in the States where things are opening up, we're getting to go out and see people more. I think a lot of us are going to have to brush up on our social skills because a lot of my friends we've sort of been talking about like, oh, my gosh, am I ready for things to open up again?

But yeah, if you're going on first date, so you probably know this person, you've talked to them. So you basically do know a little bit about them, so you can just do a little more research before actually going on a date with them. And if you do that, it always works. Well, it always does. I never feel in that regard

You don't need to know the details now. Anybody else favor arranged marriages for this reason? Just much easier this way just to get it taken care of by a matchmaker or something.
