Have You Been The Bully?

article image placeholderUploaded by @BrandyJ43
Have you ever been the bully? And if you have, what did you learn from it? Did the behavior change? Did you stop being the bully or did it carry on? Be honest. I know for some people that have told about their days of being a bully, it was because they were actually bullying, which is some instances that seemed to be heroic, and it worked out because they didn't stay in that cycle. But you definitely understand the sentiment

What lead you to be a bully? What changed? If It did....

Was just like when I was a young kid, I've definitely been the person to kind of cut someone down at the knees of their being. Not necessarily bully, but dominant or not nice to others. But again, I don't think it needs to come from a place of bullying them back because, like you said, you're just reiterating that violence

Jack. Thank you. Thank you for responding. And thank you for sharing exactly what your experience was. What I hear here is that you had some really great adults in your life that stopped and not just told you what you were doing was a bad thing or disciplined you. Because discipline really is supposed to teach, right? But they discipline, they taught you. They showed you you're wrong and then why it was wrong and threw some empathy in there, too
