So I gave myself a little bit of a break this week to focus on my health and try to get in a good headspace while also still having long days on the computer with work. But I couldn't do it with the writing as well, so I had to make an adjustment to be able to stay in the marathon. You know what I mean? This is a marathon completing a book
So I'm going to be working on some catch up homework that's due at midnight tonight that I haven't started yet. That's supposed to be a week's worth of work. So that will be interesting. But yeah, as far as everything goes, I think it's really important to say that I'm really proud of myself for actually genuinely taking time off to help myself feel better

But when you have kind of work outside of your primary work, of the way you make a living for me, it does still feel like being in school. Except I'm also like my teacher that's setting deadlines and expectations for myself. It's a little easier now, though, because obviously I can change those deadlines and be more flexible. But I really try not to do that because it's easy for a lot of time to go by and not reach your goals

Think about yesterday, I think, and I used it to read a book. And I finished the book The Narrowboat Summer, because I'm interviewing this author coming up and I'm going, oh, my goodness, I gotta do do that. And I had plain bad heroines that I should have finished last week. But like I said, I got thrown into this week of everything's Frozen week. So Plain Bad heroines got put back

But the goal is just helpful and kind of reminding you of the path you want to stay on. And that's how I try to think with writing. So last night I stayed up till after 01:00 a.m. And I took it as far as I could, but I'm just kind of struggling with this point in the process
