What is the future of the Supreme Court? Celebrating Justice Jackson
This afternoon, Justice Jackson took the judicial oath of becoming the first black woman to serve the Supreme Court. It's a pretty exciting day, at least in my eyes. And I'm very curious to see see what Justice Jackson's impact will be on the Court, especially considering the situation we find ourselves in post the overturning of Roe v. Wade. And so I wanted to open up a discussion about what you the future of the Supreme Court Court is

And I think the direction is if we don't sanction someone like him and kick them off the courts, I don't believe that the justice system, or specifically the Supreme Court, is really anything supreme or anything that is fair justice. So I don't know, based on what he did and published it and no one batted an eye and no one kicked him off the court, I don't think the justice system is very fair because we're allowing people with agenda be on the bench

I feel like this is why thinking about the historical context is partially why. Yes, I have been upset all week, but also, I know, like, this is not brand news and it's our job now to rise up and as much as we can, do what we can to support each other when abuses of power like this are happening where we live. And this is something that people are facing all across the world

And my question is to anyone listening to continue this conversation is when we talk about what's the future of the Supreme Court, we have to also talk about what's the future of this Democratic presidency right now. Because if he doesn't start showing some balls and start showing some true stake in the ground leadership, there's no way we're going to get back, keep the White House in two years
