The sweet is never as sweet without the sour πŸ‹

And so I'm wondering, what are some of the moments in either your life or in some of your favorite stories from shows or books where you feel like the sweet wouldn't have been a sweet without the sour. And wouldn't you think we have to learn from that

You can't make lemonade without the sugar or the lemons. https://app.swell.life/swellcast/y5F6

Great analogy!

Well, this is where I'm calling it the sweet and other sour and mix and match, because when I went to the school as much as I liked it, there were things about my office that I began to appreciate so much more. There were things about owning my own business and the autonomy that after going to the school and working for I guess essentially in a corporate setting that I started really tasting the autonomy more

The importance of trying on a new perspective πŸ‘€

Wow. This is such a great story. The thing that stood out to me the most about what you shared is how important trying something else was is in order for you to see and taste to take this analogy further, as you beautifully did what you really appreciated about what you already had, while also valuing this other option or potential life. I think that's a really beautiful thing

Let’s get literal !

And part of the reason I do this is because I really do believe that complex food profiling is really keep us on our toes that if you start eating more than two or three bites and it's the same bite, then you lose the experience. But if you change it up with something that's going to surprise you. So if you're doing something that's all savory and there's a sweet, it's like the best feeling in the world. I also am the person that has savory oatmeal

Analogies, personalities, Alzheimer’s

But when we relate the literal to life, I think our litter with food and drink really can translate to life. And it can also translate to personalities. Sometimes you have a rough time gelling with certain people. Right. And I think that's the other thing because certain people have these certain let's say, a person has all more sweet than sour, and someone else here has more sour than sweet and someone's a mix. But you, as a person, are more sour or whatever

@DBPardes yeees to the sweet little things

Deb, please write an essay called The Sweet. When you least expect it about your love affair with Currents, because I would love to read that. And I do think it's such a great metaphor because I love thinking about just how little currents are and how obviously the little things can be the Sweetest. So I won't get too corny. But I do think there's something there
