It's obvious that you have a love for love and romance and the romcom genre in particular. Can you talk about how you first started writing books and what made you fall in love with romance in particular? Hi, and thank you so much for having me. I'm so excited to chat about books and just my type with you. Yeah, I have always been a writer. Just, I can't remember a time in my life when I was not writing. And I've always just been drawn to love stories. Even as a kid, even as a teenager, I was always, always reading the romance stories. They were just the ones that always made my heart so happy

And overall, I think maybe an amazing piece of writing advice for anybody in the writing game is you have to find your people. So find people that are querying, make friends. That way you guys can go through that experience together and that will really be so useful. Not just in the querying phase, but as you go through your writing career. It's so amazing to have people that really understand what it is like to be a writer

And I think everybody's writing process looks very different. And that's a good thing. There's no one right way or wrong way to write a book. If you write the book, then that was the right way to do it. So you got to stick with whatever works for you. And with Lisa Love, I had that freedom because I wasn't published yet. I wasn't writing under contract

Okay. Well, as always, I'm obsessed with many things. That is just sort of how I roll, especially in the pop culture world. I think, book wise, some standouts for me. Lately I have been reading the guild glint, Gleam, all of those books by Raymond Kennedy. I have been very into, like, fantasy romance lately, so I've been reading a lot of those. I also just finished for her consideration by Amy Spalding, which was fantastic
