Who's watching Night Stalker?

article image placeholderNight Stalker: The Hunt For a Serial Killer | Official Trailer | Netflix
I'm halfway through episode one, and the production is pretty amazing. I'm very curious who is shooting this, and I'm really into some of the stylistic and editorial choices they're making so far. Also, I actually don't know about this particular serial killer, which sounds like a weird thing to say, but a lot of these shows I watch, I end up already kind of knowing the story, but then I'm mostly just watching to see how it's produced or whatever

Like how you said I haven't read about this Night Stalker in the news, or I do not have much context about what really happened there. So I'm thinking this would be something very interesting to check out, especially after how much I really enjoyed The Keepers. I'm hoping that this would be something like that. And hopefully, after watching the first episode, I'll have more to share. So see you around. And thanks for the recommendation

But because there's such a cult hit with the public, I feel like there's tons now and because of that, I've slowed it down for sure. So Bowie, let me know. What do you think? Because I certainly would rather listen to your opinion than some strange faceless voiceless human on the other end of a thread online

Rami, I'm curious. Have you started watching yet? I saw that you liked my comment there. And I'm wondering if that means that you've already seen at least that first episode. Let me know

Finished in one sitting

So there are a couple of stories that are kind of tough to hear, but I thought it was really well done and captured my attention. And I watched it all in one sitting. So if that's not on a ringing endorsement of something to watch, I don't know what is

It captured our attention

And also there was a lot more graphic scenes. You saw real footage from the crime scenes and you got to hear family members talk then and now and it kind of really let you into the world of the victims and their families. It's pretty scary. And I think it kind of captured my imagination even more so because I find La like that. It freaked me out a little bit because I was in La, living in La just a few years after this had all happened. That's scary

And I always think of stuff like that when I see guys that can't find a nice girl, you know, just the other day I was looking at this story. Vice was covering about Pazuzu Algorad or something like that, some freak, absolute degenerate son of a b**** that killed these people in his house. I think he was a cannibal, too, right

After having finished it, there was something that was a little like everything about it, the score, the graphics, the way it was shot, like a really cool film noir. All of that I thought was beautiful. But then part of me wondered like this being so stylized. Could someone read this as Glorifying. Richard Ramirez in any way?

These kids and mental just abuse and all kinds of crazy things were going on. And then mothers who just didn't help them. And so they believe that that flood of serial killers that we had was a result of that of men coming back from the European theaters of war and the Korean theater of war and not having proper treatment for their PTSD. But also, it's almost impossible now to really be that kind of a serial killer again

I'm 2 episodes in.. checked my doors & windows before going back to bed!

Hello, everyone. So I'm two episodes in while I did want to finish the series in one go, like most of you here have, I think I realized I might be better off taking my time with it as Binging makes me sometimes skim through episodes, and I do end up missing the nuances in Night Stalker. I like how the makers have brought together real footage and candid interviews and conversations from when all of this transpired
