And late at night, when my eyes be held, an airy sight on my monster from his flag began to rise. And suddenly, to my surprise, he did. The monster man. It was a craving

Probably being a Tumblr model off and on for two and a half years. I'm really going to go into what that encompassed. But that was probably my strangest quote job, especially to other people. I actually had a lot of fun, and it was very challenging, but Yeah

The strangest job I ever had....

And I was coming out of the bushes and I was eating the food and I was spilling the champagne on people. And I had food all down my shirt and I was getting told off and we built it up and built it up. Throughout the wedding. People were looking and they were like, oh, my God, look at that. I was drinking. I was doing everything. And the climax of the whole thing was that during other speeches, I got a vacuum cleaner

The recycling plant

And that didn't stop people from trying to talk to you and you couldn't hear anything. So the two worst parts about it is that if you're working with the bottles and you're just dumping out bottles that would come in, you inevitably, multiple times a day would dump stale beer all over yourself smell like beer all day. And to this day, if I come across a bottle that's got a quarter of beer left and it's been sitting there for a while

So I had to address Christmas cards for days on end for a large Corporation for all of their clients. One of the regular jobs that I had. I was a host and also an office manager at a large restaurant nightclub here in Chicago. What was at that time the largest nightclub in the country

It was just something that you can come up, collect candy from at the front door and have a picture or two and go on your way. But they brought other whole neighborhood out. And it was basically I felt like I was living in Halloween Rowan for an entire day. It was like an 18 hours shoot, and it was sundown, sunrise of spookiness. So that was very strange, but also somewhat enjoyable

But he hired me basically to do some amateur, like, private Detective type stuff. It was weird. His wife was cheating on him, and he's trying to get information. And he's trying to be in the know as to what's going on with his wife cheating on other and stuff. So he basically hired me to go Snoop on her. Like, I kind of crept around and I was looking at, like, you know, cars in the driveway and stuff like that

I was a session musician for 1 hour

But my friends had been contracted as the musicians for LucasArts. They were doing a video game, and they were doing a musical score for it. The game was called Mortimer and the Riddles of the Medallion. And for one of the tracks, the producers said, if you guys could do a jaw harp, that would be cool. And they said, Well, we don't have one, but we know someone who does called me up that day

It's strange. But now I'm wondering, are there any clips on YouTube from the perspective of where I sat there is I'll edit this description with that otherwise that's driving a plane while in the air behind another airplane to take on about Β£40,000 of fuel. Strange job. It's a little white knuckled at times as well. Interesting question. Thanks for raising it

Theatre with a twist...

There were certain things you could and couldn't wear. But as I went on, then it was like if you leave before your commitment is done, then you're blackballed. And if you are tired, it's because you didn't have enough faith or you didn't pray hard enough those kinds of things. As it turned out, I had a car accident and I had to leave. But I've since been blackballed
@SeekingPlumb

Addendum...

I remember remember my ex who didn't attend because he was being there to support his friend, whose mother was very ill. And then later, when he did make an appearance and he put his hand out to shake the hand of the leader of this, quote, Unquote Theater company. The man wanted a hug instead. And that was not something my ex wanted to do. And so the man hugged him anyway and demanded a private meeting

So many questions @SeekingPlumb !

Okay. I have so many questions about this one. This is fascinating. So I guess my first question is, what kind of plays were they in this traveling cult of theater? This is very interesting
@SeekingPlumb

The plays & production.

And so you would spend time in each of the different sort of guilds learning about them and being a part of them. And then you might be lucky enough to be cast in one of the productions. And every night we would have five to six productions. I know it sounds ridiculous. Some of them may have been maybe a half hour long. Some of them may have been an hour and a half long. And after each play, we had what was called affirmations

One more ? @SeekingPlumb

Okay. I am truly fascinated now. I was an actor for a long time, so I certainly have my share of horrific theater experiences. Strange faces, strange plays, horrible directors, all of that stuff. As every person from the theater does, I'll ask one more question. I want to kidnap this thread, but I am truly fascinated. This could be its own thread. There were the place you said that the places that you went to sort of selected the team
@SeekingPlumb

Hard to narrow down.

So some of them were not anyway, the ones that we did in La, where some of them were for entertainment purposes because they would be historically set, and they might have center around the difficulties of war or maybe a romantic relationship or something. I was in somewhat of a Western one. I remember having to perfect my Southern accent and whipping out my gun and shooting someone. So those were more entertaining than they were theme based

The day JFK Was shot

I hitched across the country in 1963. When I got to Los Angeles. It was in November, and I was offered a job on November 22 to be Santa Claus at the Broadway Hill Department Store. I left the personnel Department, which was on the top floor of the Department store. And I got on an elevator. Everybody was crying. That was when President Kennedy was shot

Have done some fun stuff!

And three different times they paid me to go in, get close to a poor little cold corn snake huddled around his rock and they measured how close I got. Asked me a few questions each time. I got better. And I wasn't afraid of snakes anymore. But I got paid like $75 and a full science credit too. So anyway, thanks a lot. It was good topic here. Appreciate it

The the the the strangest job I've ever had. A knife salesman. I'm sure some of you guys are a vector, but I remember going to people's homes. I was 17 and give them demonstrations about how sharp my knives were to get them to buy it knives in my scissors. But that was really weird. I thought that was really weird at first, and eventually I got it. But then I was like, this is not after the summer
