You may know Ellison from his classic novel Invisible Man, and I actually had never heard of his novel June 10 until recently. He was not able to finish it before his death, but he had enough written that an editor or his executor, I'm forgetting exactly who it is. That pieced, the book together that they were able to conceive of the novel is that Ellison was trying to write. So I'm very excited to take some time to get to read that book

I didn't know about that book, so thanks for that. I think The Invisible Man is such a brilliantly written book. So anything he wrote, I think I want to read today. I had a chance with my headphones phones on all day, working on a podcast. I got a chance to listen to Maya Angelou's poem again. It appears a couple of times as well. Actually, I also Langston Hughes poem called Harlem and Other

And I always think it's kind of magical and amazing when someone dies, and then there are these people around them that are able to find a way to construct what it is that left behind. So I feel like we're very lucky that we have this novel, even though Ellison didn't get the chance to fully finish it. And I'm very excited and grateful to be able to read it. So I will definitely keep you posted
