First of all, I have to start off by confessing that I drove rideshare for years to help me get through graduate school, and after I graduated, while juggling a bunch of other jobs. As you can imagine, I had a lot of interesting experiences. The way you write about the experience of rideshare from the perspective of the driver is amazing and sometimes too real

I love writing about and talking with other creative people about failure, whether it being part of the creative process or as a form of resistance. How has failure been a part of your creative journey thus far, and what have you learned from it at this point in your experience, not only as a really creative person, but just a huge human being living and being and existing in a lot of various cultural experiences?

We have a really wonderful community of writers and creators on swell who support each other through conversations about creativity and writing. I'm curious if you have any advice for those of us who are navigating multiple creative lives or passions. So, for example, acting and writing, or pottery and singer singing, et cetera. I love singering, though I'm not exactly sure what that is. How do you balance these various interests in your own really multifaceted and robust creative life?
