And usually when this happens with a film or TV show, I end up being disappointed because the hype just like is so much that when I don't have a really big reaction or just absolutely love what I watch, I feel a little bummed. Definitely not the case with Nomad Land. This film is everything that I love about stories and movies

This was absolutely one of my favorite moments in this film when two of the characters kind of create this little outdoor spa. And there's just this moment where it's pure imagination and fun. And I felt like I just saw something really real about both of the spirits of these people together. And it really moved me

And I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this where the subjects were part of the drama as it unfolded. But it wasn't a documentary. I think it's a whole new genre. Actually, it was just incredible because you see reenactments and documentaries and they suck. But I loved it. And in terms of great moments for me, I think when she left, I shouldn't ruin the story

And I also like how with this movie, we get a bunch of very little short scenes that are just put together so perfectly in the movie to make it longer and to feel like we are seeing enough of this Nomad Land. So if you haven't seen it already, go on your Hulu and please check it out. It is absolutely worth it. It'll give you another side to America that you've never seen before. I guarantee it's

There is very much a focus on choice here, and what I found even more interesting is that you see when the character played by Francis McDorman, I'm forgetting her name right now when she goes and ends up staying with someone that just briefly, I think, for a holiday or a long weekend or something like that with one of the dude she meets on the road

And definitely, please let me know if you're still having a hard time finding the writer on Pluto TV because that one I think you're really going to enjoy

Her obviously grieving the loss of her husband. And I think that's probably one of the biggest things that really touched me about this film is how much it's not necessarily explicitly over the top about grief, but that was a through line for me throughout

Hey, Bowie, thank you so much for your positive response. I always love hearing what you have to say. And honestly, I think you're one of my favorite people on this app. I really want us to continue with these film discussions questions. I think it's always important to bring out a new perspective to point something out about a film that you may not have noticed before. That's always a good thing
