Would you watch Showtime's Couples Therapy?

Two of my good friends recommended it to me because they also gobbled it up as soon as they started it. And the same thing just happened with me for season one. I'm about to start watching the special episode of season one, which is when the lockdown first started happening in New York City, and I similarly am sure that I will fly through season two

It shows it in a very realistic way, the way that they did it in terms of the camera being in the room and being able to be accessible where someone is not. The filmmakers are not in the room with the couples, so the behind the scenes of doing it, the therapist herself is interesting if you research her a little bit more. So just everything structurally about the show is just really interesting. You haven't watched season two yet. I have

I partially think that in my experience of it, at least the core issues that the couples were dealing with in season two were a bit more extreme or intense than the first season. There was more clarity. And I also think like progression and seeing their healing and behavior changed together, which was just really satisfying. And then obviously you have the backdrop of Covet as well, which we all have been going through

@bowie thoughts on different couples?

And then it turned out at the end, it was more focused on the girl and her problems and how the guy kind of got his act together and became more, I don't know, like he was dealing with this issue is a lot more clear. And then she started kind of unraveling and you saw more deeper about her issues. Then I really liked the same sex couple, the men, they really went deep and they were very raw and cathartic. And I liked that relationship

@lissahoop Thoughts on Mau?

And Gianni, it was just learning more about their story and how much they had gone through was very intense and also really incredible to see that they stayed together through it and have grown together and spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen the end, the way this season ends on them and Italy together, it's giving me the chills, even talking about it now. It's so beautiful. I find the show incredibly inspiring. It makes me want to be in couple therapy
