Will urban centers be car free in 20 years?

And they want a car free future. Essentially. Same conversation is happening now in Chicago, Los Angeles, which is hard to imagine without cars. San Francisco, New York, curious to hear your thoughts about what is going to be the landscape in urban centers. Imagine San Francisco, what will it be in 20 years? Will we have buildings without cars? Will we have demands for no cars? Or will families prevail?

I moved to the Dallas city center about six years ago, and I feel like I have good insight onto what the city centers will become with regards to cars. When I first got there, I bought a used car so I could get around. And after the battery died of non use, I began to question why I even had a car at all. Why even bother? And this is coming from somebody who actually grew up in suburbia, and I've always lived my life with a car

So I think I imagine the future as being one that's reactive to the consciousness of the people. And I think urban centers are really going to not have cars. It's the first place that we just can't afford to have them because of the congestion, because of the fact that new urban centers are growing with the vision of new technology and all that stuff
