Do you set a yearly reading goal?
Oftentimes things come up that get in the way of me reading as much as I'd like, or I notice certain years where even if I had a book or two that was especially long, it made it really difficult to meet my goal numbers wise. But I still think of it as a successful reading year because I was reading regularly

Hey, Bowie, I just saw this pop up, and I wanted to respond. My mom is part of a reading club, and she's 90, and she reads a book a month, and that inspires me. I do not read a book a month

You. Good evening. Swell books, readers. I have one book in particular that I'm reading. I'm not exactly finished yet, but if you're interested, I'll let you know how it is at the end

So I lost a lot of time in doing such unreal rubbish things that I would have rather not done, but they are unavoidable because of the bureaucracy of existence in the modern world. I should have read I know I should have read, say, around 30 books by now. I have not done that. And I felt bad about it, but then I was like, it's not like I don't want to read. I want to read

It's. Hey, Bowie. Yeah, I believe with I agree with Binati. I'm on her pick her side there. I don't like to make a goal for myself because I'm just setting myself up for failure. I like to read for the fun of it. And sometimes I'll read, like, a full chapter. Sometimes I'll read half a chapter. But I don't want to read for this sake of reading
