As there is a negative impact of pollution, we must adopt simple daily practices to enhance our immunity and strengthen our lungs. This book has specific information and home remedies from ancient wisdom systems such as yoga, macrobiotics and Ayurveda to deep clean our lungs and improve the quality of our lung tissue. This book will help you heal asthma, improve gut health, maintain a healthy weight, enhance immunity as well as reduce the congestion caused by environmental pollution

A simple tea made with cinnamon giloy, which is very good as well for the lungs. Clove, very high antioxidant and antibacterial. Fennel, soft turmeric. And you make a tea out of this, like Kara style tea, and add a little pinch of black pepper, especially organic black pepper, just before serving it. These tend to open up the nasal passages, open up the digestion, and begin to melt out the extra mucus and fat in the body. I hope that answers the first question

Hello. I'm truly intrigued by the answer and I would want to go ahead and grab a copy of the book and read it. And coming from a metro city, yes, we all face these respiratory problems and we don't realize how deeper is the impact unless and until we've reached an ultimate stage where there is no turning around. But I'm sure this book has a lot to offer for

And so from that perspective, I started writing this book about five years ago, five, six years ago. And it's been an amazing journey because I just took off from work and I was just writing for like a year and a half and researching. So, yeah, it's and I'd like to mention, since I mentioned my first book here on children's health, it's no longer available

Yes. I was going through the blurb and I realized that it is a comprehensive guidebook. And one can only imagine the exhaustive research that has gone into making this book possible. So what was your research process like for this book? And you just said that you took off from the work and you wrote this book. So what exactly does that mean? That you quit the job? Because I want to personally know how do you balance your personal life and moonlighting as an author?
Tarika Ahuja
@Tarika108 · 3:13
You. So I'd like to share that besides research, there was a lot of putting things together in the right perspective for the modern urban living people. And that's what took a lot more effort than the research. You know, in in twelve years of me counseling for health and teaching across in yoga retreats and health institutions and holistic centers, I came across a lot of people with different minds and different questions

Coming from the Metro City we are intentionally unintentionally consuming chemicals. And in the book we are not just talking about ailments, but we are also talking about remedies. And that's why the name asthma cures. So I'd like to know is it possible to reverse the damage that is caused to our health? And to what extent can it be done?
Tarika Ahuja
@Tarika108 · 4:44
But it's not like the disease itself is reversed as yet in the second and third year, there will be improved immunity and energy levels. By the fourth and fifth year, the body will be less sensitive to allergens

You've answered my question thoroughly. But as a common man, what measures can we take on a daily basis to maintain our well being, especially gut health and immunity system? Because not everyone is conscious of the chemicals that are used in detergents or on the vegetables. So something that is much doable, like for instance like vajpan makethe that haldiwaladud is really good for your gut health and the cure cup. So something like that

But I would really recommend listening to the better teachers and getting a consult with the better teachers and doctors, ayurvedic doctors and helping your condition and practices honing it more directly to your body type and condition

Hello. That was really helpful. And I hope the people listening to this wellcast, now or later benefit from this and talking about the book. Is the book mostly for asthma or what else does it cover? And can everyone have the recipes from this book?
Tarika Ahuja
@Tarika108 · 2:31
Plus there is an entire section for international recipes for people who are living abroad. And I wanted to keep that separate because the rest of the book I want applicable for people in India easily. And then people who have access to things which are imported or are abroad, they can use more recipes from the international recipe section which is only about 20% and 80% of it is our different food groups as mentioned

You again. That was quite helpful. And I'm sure it's going to benefit a lot, many people out there. So before we sign out, I'd like to know what are your expectations? From the book, the asthma cure?
Tarika Ahuja
@Tarika108 · 4:11
I think nutrition and especially holistic nutrition based on the ancient systems of Ayurveda and macrobiotics and traditional Chinese medicine, are not something which should come under the category of SUPW or extracurricular activities, but these should be 50% of anybody's school going life. Gardening and yoga and holistic nutrition and cooking the holistic way ayurvedic cooking. All of this should really become a big part of our school
