Random One first up..!!

Hey. Hi guys. This is Dharmin here from Mumbai, India. And here's a random one that goes out right at you. So while it's a rush hour or typical Monday day back here at my end. But here's a quick flying question that extends right to all you listeners in there. I'd love to know which is your favorite music composer of all time. Be it both Hollywood, Bollywood and other film industries put together film industries and private artists put together

#MusicComposer #Music

@bombayblues

Hey there Dharmin. It's me, happy. And you know, the fact that you chose music as your first world is really great because I completely love music. And speaking about the composers, I would say that I really very much love Vishal Shakerdlani and Shankar Asan Loy. Like they mix and match the beats and everything and the lyrics and everything. They compose it so well. And I also love Amal Malik and of course Amit Rivedi AR Haman, he's a gem. And Priyam Sakurbadiya

@hansa

Hey, Happy, thanks again for that prompt response on my swell. First things first. Like I said, I'm kind of new to Swell. It's been just about a week that I've been using Swell. And yeah, I was told that to begin with, you can just start off by putting up a question or something that sort of hits your mind, being absurd to be original, but still go impromptu. So that's what I did
@Abhilasha

@Abhilasha · 1:27

@bombayblues

I completely agree with Happy. So, yeah, Happy beat me to that. Thanks again for putting this out there. I'm really happy you've started your swell with the music and I can't wait to hear more. So, yeah, Ramanza, Shankara, Shalji and I'm going to come back to you with another swell. A longer one perhaps. But thanks for this amazing question. Take care. Bye

@bombayblues

Berman's composition. Hansa, who brought out gems after gems, bringing Hindustani classical music in the big screen format through his music. There's a lot that we need to talk about in terms of composers, and it's very interesting that you mentioned some of the composers from the west and swell come back to you on that as well. And in fact, I'm going to dig a little deeper and talk about some of the composers of yesterday's from our industry
@Abhilasha
Abhilasha Ojha
@Abhilasha · 2:58

@bombayblues

Also, the way he composed, he did more of non film music, but even for the films that he composed is also, I think, public knowledge. That Jaggi thing said that he had a good range, but apparently he used to say that when I sing and when I compose, I want to compose in just a limited octave and in a very simple way, so that all of my music can be hummed along easily
@bombayblues

@bombayblues · 4:11

@Abhilasha

So that's that also, I cannot express how nicely, how deeply you as though took us through the entire journey of some truly timeless composers and musicians who truly edge the way from the 6th still date, talking about Kayamza, talking about Babylehi, talking about Shankar, Ashan, Loy, talking about so many others, of course, just no words but the Master himself and a whole lot others

Thank you very much, Sir PIJI, for weighing in and responding to my first well, I really appreciate choice of music directors and composers, which goes on to only reemphasize the fact that music directors so music directors are composers. Thanks very much for for having shared your opinion and we look forward to having an interesting conversation and wonderful community in here on Square. Thank you so much. Cheers

Hey Dharmin. Thank you so much for inviting me on this swell. I'm sorry for the late reply. I'm so sorry. So if I talk about myself so I like many many musiccomposer music but there are some that I'm really fond of. So the first one is of course Araman as you've mentioned and yours. And the second one is Selling Merchant because I like as many of music songs I would say. And the next one is Amal Milk. I like him also

Notable examples that come to mind are Jesus, Life of Pablo, College Dropout, and Date Registration. These are like only my top favorites, which every day they keep changing because all of his albums have at least something to offer. And the way he collaborates with other artists, especially Kit Kade, Jay Z, Pushati, and even Drake up to a point. And even now, after his feet has ended, it's is just mind doing

I think each song is so rich in terms of the wide range of instruments that are used. Right. And I think they are evergreen also in many ways. I can't say current because I don't really followed many musiccomposer music as such. Though I do like compositions by these groups. Yellow Train and Sorry, the Local Train and The Yellow Diary. I love listening to their songs. I think I enjoy Vishal Bharadwaj, all his music compositions. Besides that Arjman, of course. The Visit

Hey there. I just wanted to jump in and add my list of music composers to the list. So I am a huge fan of Arman and Ilaraja, of course, that goes without saying, have grown not listening to both these maestros at their best, so they gave us the Golden Ninety s and the early 2000s for which I would forever be thankful to them. I'm also a huge fan of Chanda I'm

So it's taken me a while to accept the fact that I'm lagging behind and responding to each one of you individually, but I assure that in the forthcoming swell that I might have okay, yeah, that brings me to another point, the fact that I will respond to you in my forthcoming swell. But here's another thing. So I also wanted to check with you if you guys really believe that I should do my next swell on poetry

Hi, there. I am pronouncing your name correctly. So even before you actually stated your favorite to be Arm, and I actually made up my mind, which is, honestly speaking, I've been listening to infants, like, so many years and literally grown listening to his music. And it's been nothing less than a therapy. So that's it. I hope you have an amazing day. Bye

@garimamakhijaa

Hey, Garima, thanks for having weighed in your views and having shared what you thought about Aramhan's music. Indeed, I couldn't agree more on the fact that his music has been nothing, nothing short of a therapy. He's been a h*** of a healer, a music composer, power, excellence. And, yeah, I think he's right at the top amidst, let's say, probably the top three world musicians in my book

Hey, thank you for your reply and also to your question as to what you should be talking about next and whether we would love to hear something around poetry onspell my reply. Reply is yes. It's a resounding yes, and I'm sure many of us in the community would love to discuss poetry art in some form. So both your ideas sound brilliant to me, either sharing your original work or even discussing already published work and having conversations around it. So, yeah, both sound great

@Ramya

So, yeah, I just want to make sure that I don't drift off tangent. I don't get into a tangent where people feel that, okay, this is some random stuff that is putting up. So, yeah, I'm just trying to stay afloat and stay within the framework of what most users and this, well, community at large is most receptive to. And that's how I put director off. But sure. Thanks for your feedback

Arushi .

His waves key music around silence with minimal arrangement and maximum intricacy in the music. Hence comes a deep sense of calm to your mind when you listen to his songs. He generally Hansa pad in the background in the arrangements playing continuously. This is mostly Annaudible unless you just send it very carefully. The importance is the chords which are played on with this pad and we wait the Malodi to another level altogether. He most probably uses seven and eleven chords. He is just a genius in using them

He recently died and it really broke my heart to hear about his expiry because just recently, a few months back I guess in March I attended his Life show in my engineering college so it was a really nice experience then to attend his Life show. He was also on that day like he entertained us for 1.5 or something and it was the best 1.5 hours of my life

Hey, Manav. Yes, I definitely agree with you. To the extent that KK indeed was a very accomplished singer and a music, I feel that he had a exuberant calm. And yet that melody that touched you deep within. So, yeah, I'm sure most of us early 2000s kids have grown up listening to KKK. So sure, he holds a very special place in all our hearts. So, in that sense, definitely KK

Having studied his background in music. I call him one of the most accomplished musicians and composers directors that I know of because having known his background. He studied both the Western music as well as Indian music. Karmatic music. He knows devotional music. Basically. If you identify with the world music genre. He is wonderful and an ace exponent of world music. So he can play in a choir, he can play in an orchestra

I'd have to say, Prince, I think Prince is s***. He's like beyond to me. He's the greatest single composer, musically speaking, and the greatest musician that I've ever seen or heard, because I have seen him live in concert

Such a loss, you know, but he left behind such an incredible legacy and lucky for us, a lot of music and even songs we haven't heard, like album and the album poll that we haven't heard. I was lucky enough to go to Paisley Parkin and recording studio B, and I just have an immense respect for Prince. So that's my answer to Prince. Anyway, I was going to post my save. It's actually spoken word, but he's amazing

Hi there. Well, you know, I my favorite music composers are definitely as you say. My favorite is also AR enhan. But I don't have, you know, a single favorite music composer. I love Bollywood songs. Actually, I only listen to Bollywood songs. So that's why my list consists of only Bollinger music. Definitely Shankar Maven. Yeah, I know. The list is so long. I might have taken half of this name, but that's what it is

Although I'll be very honest and upfront about the fact that I haven't heard him before you guys spoke about him, although I had heard a few things about him, but I have not heard his music myself. I'm definitely looking forward to give it a fair hearing. And given all what you guys said, I clearly understand that Prince seems to be a musician and a performer of the highest stature. And I truly respect and acknowledge all what you guys just mentioned. It really means a lot

My favorite artist of all times? This is my multi layered answer. Depends what chapter of my life you're talking about. And it depends what context, like, what is going on in my life. I love the music from Wicked, those kinds of theatrical musical numbers. But I love Prince, I love Madonna and I love Eminem, because he really broke out into a culture music platform that wasn't for non people of color, for white people, necessarily

Thank you very much and really appreciate you having shared your thoughts. Cheers and stay blessed

I truly love music. I love that type of music that my husband listens to. He listens to an eclectic taste of more of the indie artists and things like that. But I love and keep going back to my father and Gershwin and just where all these beautiful music tones and musicals and theater came from is just to me the most amazing thing ever and the basis for a lot of pop and rock and country and everything else

Hey. Happy first. Swell. That's is a good question. I would say Stravinsky. Igor Stravinsky. I would have to be The Right of Spring, and then Han Zimmerman and he did Inception and a bunch of other cool movies. Very big, full instrumental situations. Yeah. Those two. Those who come to mind. All right. Peace. Bye
