Rather than dismissing or trying to convince her to be happy, I believe it is crucial to delve deeper and understand the underlying emotions she may be trying to express. We must recognize that individuals who are struggling with suicidal thoughts often mask their pain, consciously avoiding drawing attention to themselves. Yet they often exhibit nonverbal cues, fashion cues, and cultural cues that offer glimpses into their profound and distressing emotions

There's so many times in our history we can show the need we've all had at a societal level to be in pain and to mourn Pand, to show that the whole punk era, its origins are just like, let's drop into this pain, Pand, this discord, to celebrate, in a way, the colors that live there underneath. And then being able to parent somebody with this courage is so beautiful. I'm really blown away by this and appreciate your perspective so much
