Blind to the present, focus on the past. Unless you stop to sabotage, this isn't going to last. My words are real, my feelings are honest. Open your eyes and enjoy the ride. The foundation is strong. But don't get me wrong, you have to lay bricks in order for this to stick. So keep an open mind, there are no tricks. Just be real with me and this could go the distance

I really like this. I always want to know the story behind the poetry. This sounds like either the start of a relationship or maybe a little bit further in where you're saying, hey, you got to work on this. Stop playing game. But I really like how you set it up and what you did with it. I'd love to hear if I guess, what your inspiration was when you wrote this, if you remember

I don't play games, but I used to be a really bad overthinker, which is the whole reason why I started writing until I get my thoughts out, because I just didn't want to think about them anymore. But, yeah, it was about that. So just about when you're getting ready to start dating again, and it could be about someone, but this particular one was about me
But either way, it's a beautiful thing to be able to express yourself with words and put it into, you know, poem and music and rap and things of that nature. I love it. So that's some of the things that I do as well. That's always a great outlet, and I love that you're able to just get it out, you know. Anyway, thank you for that. Have a great one. Bye
