I never thought I’d care what people thought about me…

I care what people think of me. And you should care about what? The people that you have around you think about you. Do they respect you? Are they loyal? Do they love you? Are they honest? So, yes, I care

I say from my lips that I don't care what a person thinks. And many times I don't care. Because there was a time that I did care. I gave their world and their words so much weight and control over my life. But if I'm really honest, I do care. Which is why I fixed my hair a little a certain way. I fix my face a certain way. I fix my words a certain way

Chime in response to RealTalk101😀

Hi. This is Erico. Souljourney one k. This is in response to Real Talk. I listened to your response, and I totally agree. I think that's why I started off the first part of my response talking about how I gave people power over me by thinking about their thoughts. And I learned learned a long time ago that sometimes when we think people are thinking about us, whether negative or positive, they're probably not thinking about us at all. That's the funny part about it

So no matter which way you paint it, it doesn't matter how much work someone does on themselves, if they encounter a person who doesn't see that worth, it will f*** with your mind for a moment. Even if it's just a moment, it's going to f*** with your mind for that moment, and then it's going to pass. You're going to remember your worth and you're going to keep on pushing. So thank you ladies so much

And sometimes when we think that we've gotten over that hump, you know, here comes another blunder, here comes another storm that forces us to think or doubt ourselves. And if we're really honest being humans, we love validation. We love when people see outworth. That part is definitely normal for us as people who wants to go through life knowing that no one sees their value

Fortunately, for me, I do not care one iota what someone thinks about me I only care what God thinks about me.

So I do not care anymore what people think about me. And once I've lifted that anchor off of my neck, I found that I'm more free to be who I want to be and does not bother me one bit if someone likes or does not like me. For the same reason when I'm on social media, I don't care if people try to cancel me or not because they're not the ones I'm trying to please. I am trying to please God and God only

@RehDogg

And like you said, it's God. So it's not really a sense of me letting the words that you say live in my head and me thinking that that's who I really am. It's not coming from that standpoint at all. But I appreciate your message and thank you for listening and have a good rest of your Sunday

It don't hurt that bad. But anyhow so that's my response to this. I'll like everybody's responsive because I can relate to it. So, yes, I do care. I care enough not to care about the things that are non applicable to me

@LAF.Consulting

I don't want to say that we should, shoulda, woulda, coulda attacked the deal, but I think that it's very important to be surrounded by people who really know who you are, especially in moments where you might say something and someone who doesn't know might say something about your character, but they don't really know you
