Unshared Poem Series: Never Fails

article image placeholderUploaded by @blairbearing
Then I hear your voice and my heart skips a beat and I mumble my first few words but I take a deep breath and I try to repeat what I said. You laugh and ask me how my day is. I never say it, but my day almost always gets better when I hear your voice. It's so smooth, it's so sexy, it never fails to move me

I love that. It reminded me of so many times I've been there. It's like that voice at the end of the line that just that person that can just both calm you and excite you at the same time. It's wonderful. And definitely a good 02:45. A.m. Right. Thank you so much for sharing this. This was a lovely bit. I'm going to listen to it again. And yeah, it never fails. What a great title, too

I like that connection, and I just think it's kind of sacred and wonderful to be opening up in this way. And so far, everything I've heard resonates those moments of waiting and longing and joy and oh, my heart. So it speaks volumes, even if it's been unshared, not been shared rather before. So I'm going to keep flicking through and enjoying your work

And yeah, I go back and forth over the last several years with sharing, unsharing sharing, hearing, and I finally got to the point to where it's just like I'm just ready to kind of just put it all out there and just say, look, here is what I do, this is what I like to do. I've done it since I could remember. My writing style has definitely changed and this platform is just encouraging me more. Plus words from you

@blairbearing (also... @nourishyou i put you on the spot haha luv yaaaa)

And so that's something that is very, very beautiful and intimate about the way that you write is that you have this quality of dipping inward and just going into that behind the veil feeling where it's before you share something, that space in which you were feeling it, but you're not quite sharing it yet. And so that space, that holding space of feeling, it brings your reader into yourself, and they are feeling it and making it their experience
