It gave me professors that were mother and father figures. Even though I had a mother, I called the one professor mother Mary gave me the motivation to pursue even higher education and then to come back as a professor and to work alongside some of the professors I had as an 18 year old kid. Now, being 38 years old, it's amazing experience. And then being let go because they got rid of the program I taught

By doing that, you're contributing to them financially so that their hardship is less and you're literally going to be what's the word? I'm trying to find the word. You're going to take care of something that is important to the history of this university, and you're going to hold it dear to you and share it with your friends and family, and that keeps the legacy going. But it's a devastating loss
