Mental health is not your fault but it is your responsibility! Why do we only focus on the faults?

And it leaks off of social media too, because if you see people who get on the wrong side of the internet by saying something without providing proper context right, or not saying something in the exact way that they wanted to say it, I think what ends up happening is we create more mental health problems for people. Because I'm guessing Shantan is probably in a very bad head space right now

And I think some of what we're witnessing is like, the growing pains of trying to understand, like, how do humans relate to one another, but then how do we do it as well with technology? And I don't know. That's just one thought. If I zoom in, another thought is that I don't know what it's like there

#MentalHealth

You know the person that you know on social media if you meet the person otherwise it might be a completely different person or might have a completely different life or might be going through something which is so disastrous all the anger and all the negative

So I think these are all, as you, again, rightly pointed out, lots of factors going to it. So thank you so much for your response. It was wonderful and gave me a lot of food for thought. Let me once again apologize for my voice. I hope it gets better soon and looking forward to interacting with you more in the future. I talk a lot about social media, so definitely, please keep me straight

And that is such a privileged position to be in what I'm quickly realizing not just as an Indian, but as a global citizen, because access to good mental health care is very scarce, specifically in the normal average economics of things

I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. I hope you're on the mend soon. Fair soon. It's funny you mentioned that because I was thinking about doing this well, on this, but I just haven't gotten there yet. I feel like it's still percolating. So sometime soon, hopefully you're feeling better sooner than it takes for me to come up with more thoughts. And it's just another thought

I think we owe it to ourselves, and we cannot expect others to shoulder this burden or others to understand without our communicating this. And I think my initial reaction to Shantanu's post was to like it, because a lot of what he said did resonate with me. And I also was wondering, if somebody were to found a company to start a company at 23, 24, would that person really put a timeline to the number of hours that they were putting? I wonder?

The fact that he said 18 hours does not mean I think this is one thing which is critically always missing from any work life balance related conversations. There is literally no one size fit all because the people who are passionate, they're going to hate caps on work because they are really driven by their work. For some people, happiness is their work. And that is completely valid. Right? Then there are people like me with heavy distraction problems

And clearly when you're addressing on a social media platform which arguably reaches 60 or 70% of 1.4 billion people, then that's a lot of mind sticking right there with varying degrees of intelligence here. Some get it, some don't. Some analyze it beyond a point and some don't get it the way it is meant to be. And therefore in all this cacophony there is a moblike reaction where people just jump in because they think that seems to be the most popular opinion

@BasTalk

Sometimes not on social media per se, but say, for example, if I have written something very nice and I press publish, I feel very powerful. Whereas in contrast, when I get traditionally published, which is when you go through the whole process and then something chapky upkeepasarai, I feel small and weak, which is so weird. But that is something I've observed. I feel powerful when I say stupid s***, objectively stupid s*** on social media

All together, you find everything from I'm sorry, everything from people bashing each other, to trolling, to objectifying to everything, all the negatives. You also find positive. You find some really insightful thoughts, lovely poetry, a lot of things there. So I think all my thoughts that have put in the previous one comes from my Twitter experience. And I'm really glad you liked it. And I'm also looking forward to more communication. Take care. Bye. I hope you're well
