Love Languages - a poem about communicating feelings and the weird ways we do it

article image placeholderUploaded by @BeaumouManatee
Our ways of conveying love are strange and distinct, neither of us straightforward. You crouch like a crab beneath a rock, proffering impersonal questions with hidden personal roots. This is your sly, station way of discerning the truth without bearing your exoskeleton to blows. Meanwhile, I express my love like a deranged artisan delivery girl. I drive by your house and heap your doorstep with crafts and cakes. I sing beneath your window. I fling out courageously forward flirtations atop the pile of gifts

Wow. I so I so love your imagery. The deranged what was it? Deranged delivery artisan delivery girl. That's so good. Oh, I love that. I love that. And that last image, wrapping it all together, the lasso and the clay candle holder. Wow. I loved it. I loved it. Thank you for sharing it. I'm excited to hear more

Hey, Ro. Thanks for listening and for your kind words. I was worried that this one might have been too weird. And so to hear that you liked it is very encouraging to me. Thanks again
